Agritourism

We are fortunate to have K & S Farm here in Pickett County (and a short drive from Dale Hollow Lake). Karl and Sue Lado have settled nicely into their farm with their animals and plants. They have Clydesdales, a pot belly pig, a steer named Gordy, dogs and lavender, plus a few other items. Sue has a little shop where she sells her lavender products and gifts. They harvest lavender honey, grow their own luffa, and offer various venues for photo opportunities – including sunflowers. They have a wonderful space for weddings. Occasionally, they offer paint classes in conjunction with Artsy Fartsy. You don’t want to miss this stop, but be sure to call ahead. It is a working farm, so they are not always available.
