Life is slower around Dale Hollow Lake than in the big cities. Traffic jams are all but unheard of. In addition to the public campgrounds operated by the Corps of Engineers (recreation.gov) and the Big South Fork National River & Recreation Area (nps.gov/biso), there are several private campgrounds to be experienced. Reservations are always suggested and may be required.
