Reservations: 1-888-867-2757 - Pickett State Park offers 11,752 acres of botanical, scenic and geological wonders found nowhere else in Tennessee. The park includes 5 chalets, 5 rustic stone cottages, 5 wooden cottages, 40 campsites and more than 58 miles of hiking. Also available are numerous recreation activities, including a beautiful, cliff-lined sandy beach; year-round fishing in Arch Lake; as well as hunting. Pickett State Park also offers guided tours, demonstrations, campfire programs, movies and much more in the summer months. In 2015, Pickett-Pogue became the first state park in the Southeast to gain the prestigious Silver-tier International Dark Sky Park designation. In addition, the park offers guided glowworm tours of Hazard Cave each June. Reservations are required.
