The southern portion of the Brimstone Recreation Area is managed by the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, and with proper TWRA permits, allows hunting, fishing and recreational ATV use. The north and northeast sections are managed privately by Brimstone Recreation and are available with a land use permit.
