Whether it was stitched last month or handed down through your family for generations, every quilt has a story—and we’d love to help share it.

Join us for Stitched in Pickett, a community quilt show celebrating the beautiful quilts, talented quilters and quilting traditions of Pickett County and our surrounding communities.

**QUILTERS OF ALL SKILL LEVELS ARE WELCOME!**

There is no formal judging and no need to worry about whether your quilt is “show quality.” If you made it and you’re proud of it, we would love for you to display it.

We also especially encourage families to bring out those treasured quilts made by mothers, grandmothers, great-grandmothers and generations before them. They don’t have to be new—or perfect—to be worth sharing. Those stitches are part of our history.

Quilts may be display only or offered for sale.

QUILT DROP-OFF

Quilts may be dropped off in advance at the Byrdstown-Pickett County Welcome Center, or brought to First Baptist Church on Friday, September 11, from 2–4 PM.

VIEWER’S CHOICE

While there will be no formal judging, everyone attending the show will have an opportunity to vote for one favorite quilt for our Viewer’s Choice recognition.

No judges. No scorecards. Just pick the quilt you love most!

And you don’t have to be a quilter to attend. Come admire the craftsmanship, discover the stories behind the quilts, vote for your favorite and enjoy a celebration of a tradition that has been passed from one generation to the next.
